Standard House Frame Description
Our houses are manufactured in sections in a Swedish factory and shipped to the UK. The following describes the main parts of the structure included in the shipment. The remaining elements of a turnkey build are sourced and supplied in the UK, using Swedish products where appropriate.

External Walls:
Timber framed panels variously sized according to house design 2.5m and 2.7m high comprising:
Horizontal or vertical external timber weatherboarding or render board on horizontal/vertical battens;
Windproof breather barrier:
195mm studwork with 195mm rockwool insulation material; impervious vapour barrier;
Offset 70mm studwork (to avoid cold bridging) with 70mm insulation, conduits and back boxes for electrical supplies;
12mm particle board and 13mm plasterboard (substituted by waterproof board in bath/shower rooms).
Doors and windows pre-fitted to panels.
U value 0.162 W/m2K
Internal Walls:

70 x 45mm timber stud framework;
70 x 45mm timber stud framework;
70mm insulation;
12mm particle board each side;
13mm plasterboard each side (waterproof board in bath/shower rooms).

95 x 45mm & 120 x 45mm studwork frame:
95mm/120mm insulation; 12mm particle board pre-mounted one side;
12mm loose particle board for other side:
13mm plasterboard for each side (waterproof board in bath/shower rooms).
Roof:
Pitched roof:
Pre-assembled A frame trusses;
Construction designed for 500mm loose fill insulation;
External 17mm rough sawn sarking board;
Underfelt & battens for tiling:
Vapour barrier;
Ceiling tiles (plasterboard alternative).

Galvanised and painted steel guttering and downpipes supplied
Timber cladding finished with alkyd primer coat (6 shades available)
All fascia boards, barge boards, door and window trims and corner trims supplied painted white.
